This is done using a new product (well its new to me) that I'm quite excited about. It's water soluble graphite. You use it like a regular graphite pencil, then treat it like a water color pencil. I like the shading effects that can be achieved. I plan to play with these alot more in the near future, as well is with some water soluble colored graphite pencils.
